Yantrakar AS is a founder-led company in Stavanger, started in 2020. I am Sandeep Shelke. Before robotics I worked on Python APIs over mature C++ engineering platforms and on modernising long-lived production codebases. I design, build, test and deploy the software myself.

About five years. Key parts of the software that turned a manual drilling operation into an automated one: machine state software, multi-machine sequence tooling, rule logic, and common access across several protocols.
About one year. An interface-based solution in a drone application stack, a standalone cloud backup application and a local web service.
Since July 2026. Private AI inside a company network, deployed with Ansible on hardware the client owns.
2026. A small open-source tool that keeps git identities right across accounts, for people and for AI coding assistants.
Machine state is spread across systems. A common interface over robots, PLCs and services, without replacing what already works.
Operational logic is hard to change. Configurable rule and task layers, kept apart from low-level machine control.
Multi-machine work is hard to follow. Sequence tooling and state views that show what each machine is doing and why.
A mature C++ platform is hard to extend. Python access, clearer interfaces and tests around the existing code.
Teams want AI on internal data. Open-weight models running on your hardware, deployed with automation so it can be rebuilt and upgraded.
A focused hour or two on an architecture question, a stuck integration or a private AI plan.
A defined piece of work, from design to tested deployment.
Most of my robotics work has been multi-year, inside the team.
