Connect machines, controllers and services
Interfaces and services for collecting and normalising state across PLCs, DDS, REST, gRPC, WebSockets and existing application APIs.
// industrial software — stavanger, norway
Yantrakar connects robots, PLCs and software services, then builds operational applications for machine state, inventory, sequences, mission logic and workflows.
Scope
Yantrakar has delivered software at both levels. Integration makes machine and service data usable. Operational software uses that data for state management, inventory, sequences, mission logic and workflows.
Interfaces and services for collecting and normalising state across PLCs, DDS, REST, gRPC, WebSockets and existing application APIs.
Applications and configurable logic for machine state, inventory, sequences, missions, rules and multi-machine workflows.
Where we are useful
We take on software problems where machine data, service interfaces and operational decisions cross several technologies.
Bring PLC, DDS, REST, gRPC and application data behind a coherent interface without replacing every connected system.
Move suitable rules, expressions and mission decisions into configurable layers without moving low-level machine control into the application layer.
Build sequence programming, visualisation and state tooling that engineers and operators can reason about.
Add Python access, clearer interfaces and tests to a mature C++ system — without replacing the core.
Automate deployment of private local LLM services with Ansible in controlled engineering environments.
Services
Work can begin with technical discovery, a focused prototype or implementation of a clearly scoped component or integration.
Protocol adapters, common interfaces, state normalisation and application-facing APIs across existing systems.
Software for machine state, inventory, sequence programming, workflow visualisation and multi-machine coordination.
Expression parsing, configurable rules and state-driven mission evaluation outside low-level machine-control components.
C++ services, Python applications, Python interfaces over mature C++ platforms, testing and integration tooling.
State collection, service communication, persistence and application-facing interfaces across machines and services.
Ansible-based deployment of local software and private model infrastructure, with Nix-based reproducible environments where relevant.
Selected work
Engagements are described at system level to avoid disclosing client-specific implementation details.
Developed inventory and state-management software for drilling robots, multi-machine sequence tooling, and configurable zone and mission logic. Built common read/write access across PLCs, DDS, REST, gRPC and WebSockets.
Developed an interface-based solution within a drone application stack, a standalone cloud-backup application and a Drogon-based local web service. Technologies included C++, Python, Azure, rsync and Nix.
Automated deployment of private local LLM infrastructure across local machines using Ansible.
About Yantrakar
Yantrakar is a founder-led software company in Stavanger. We design, implement, test and deploy software around existing machines, control systems and engineering platforms.
Yantrakar's client work includes industrial robotics, drone software, distributed services and local deployment automation. The founder's earlier experience includes mature C++ engineering platforms, Python APIs and long-lived production systems.
